As we continue scaling our operations, we\u2019re hiring a Junior Accountant<\/b> who brings discipline, speed, and precision<\/b> to our finance department. This role is for someone who has experience in filing VAT, PAYE, SHIF, NSSF, and Income Tax<\/b>, and thrives in a structured, performance\-driven environment.

Role Summary<\/b>
<\/h2>

This role will oversee the day\-to\-day financial records, statutory compliance, and reporting operations<\/b> of the business. You'll ensure the company operates with financial clarity, zero leakages, and 100% compliance.<\/b> You\u2019ll also support multiple branches and report directly to senior management.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h2>

  • File statutory returns accurately and on time<\/b>:
    <\/p>

    • Income Tax
      <\/p><\/li>

    • VAT
      <\/p><\/li>

    • PAYE
      <\/p><\/li>

    • NSSF
      <\/p><\/li>

    • SHIF
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Maintain accurate records for:
      <\/p>

      • Sales (M\-PESA, cash, bank)
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Supplier payments & imports
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Petty cash & commissions
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Payroll and deductions
        <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

        Minimum Requirements<\/b>
        <\/h2>

        • Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting or Finance<\/b>, or CPAK (minimum Section 4).<\/b>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Experience with VAT, PAYE, SHIF, NSSF, and tax filing is mandatory.<\/b>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Proficiency in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Excel.<\/b>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Fast, accurate data entry and strong organizational discipline.
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Ability to identify discrepancies, reconcile issues, and enforce financial accountability.<\/b>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Previous experience in a multi\-branch business or SME environment<\/b> is an advantage.
