Role Overview
<\/div>
<\/div>
This role combines on\-site design interpretation, construction supervision,
<\/div>
<\/div>
and team coordination. The Project Architect plays a pivotal role in ensuring
<\/div>
<\/div>
that designs are translated effectively on\-ground, workers are aligned with the
<\/div>
<\/div>
intent, and site decisions are made with ecological intelligence.

You must be able to work with craftspeople, understand the constraints and
<\/div>
<\/div>
opportunities of material behavior, and propose solutions that honor both design
<\/div>
<\/div>
quality and site realities.

Key Responsibilities
<\/div>

1. Architectural Execution & Supervision
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Supervise and guide on\-site architectural and interior works, ensuring quality
<\/div>
<\/div>
and adherence to ecological principles.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Review and adapt detailing during execution based on material behavior and
<\/div>
<\/div>
environmental factors.
<\/div>
<\/div>
2. Design Understanding & Translation
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Interpret architectural and structural drawings; communicate spatial intent and
<\/div>
<\/div>
joinery logic to workers and contractors.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Identify and resolve on\-ground conflicts with clarity and speed, consulting with
<\/div>
<\/div>
the design team as needed.
<\/div>
<\/div>
3. Site\-Level Design Feedback
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Provide structured feedback to design architects based on construction
<\/div>
<\/div>
behavior, worker inputs, or contextual conditions.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Document practical learnings to improve design\-to\-build processes.
<\/div>
<\/div>
4. Construction Management & Workforce Coordination
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Plan and manage daily construction workflows across trades.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Assign tasks to masons, carpenters, and labor teams based on design
<\/div>
<\/div>
requirements and work sequencing.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Monitor material use, labor productivity, and on\-site execution quality.
<\/div>
<\/div>
5. Ecological Building Techniques
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Ensure site teams implement techniques like CSEB, lime plaster, mud walls,
<\/div>
<\/div>
bamboo joinery, etc., appropriately.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Train or orient new teams on ecological construction practices where needed.
<\/div>
<\/div>
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Coordinate with consultants, project managers, vendors, and procurement
<\/div>
<\/div>
teams to align resources with project progress.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Conduct or assist in site meetings, walkthroughs, and client visits.
<\/div>
<\/div>
7. Reporting & Documentation
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, issue trackers, and photo
<\/div>
<\/div>
documentation.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Verify BOQs, track as\-built modifications, and support record drawings.
<\/div>
<\/div>
8. Site Safety & Sustainability Compliance
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Enforce site safety practices and ensure work is done with minimal ecological
<\/div>
<\/div>
disruption.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Lead by example in upholding environmental and material responsibility.

Required Qualifications & Skills
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 1\u20133 years of hands\-on site experience, preferably in sustainable or
<\/div>
<\/div>
residential construction
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Proficiency in Revit is mandatory \u2014 this is our core design platform and not
<\/div>
<\/div>
optional
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, detailing, and material
<\/div>
<\/div>
behavior
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Additional skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office are Must

\u2022 Strong visual and verbal communication to interface with both designers and
<\/div>
