Junior Chemist

Role Purpose:

• Carry out the analytical and product chemistry work under the supervision of Sr. Research Scientist/Team Leader
• Assist the Sr. Research Scientist in Laboratory and equipments maintenance as per GLP requirements.
• Good experimental skills with aptitude for learning.

Accountabilities

• Perform the analysis in the assigned areas of Analytical and Product Chemistry activities
• Ability to deliver experimental results RAFT within agreed timelines
• Assist in bulk shipment sub sampling and homogenization process
• Ensure own laboratory work recorded and reported to agreed Syngenta standards
• Always ensure safe laboratory practices and waste disposal as per the site policy
• Continually seek good understanding of analytical and product chemistry work, SOPs and GLP process
• Ensure compliance with all company HS&E policies and GLP.
• Tasks may vary depending on the team you would be working and are not limited to the ones listed above

• Master’s degree in chemistry preferable analytical or allied Science, area from the reputed Universities with strong academic records and good communication skills with 2-4 years of industrial experience. Experience Analytical Chemist with GLP experience is desirable,
• Knowledge of experimental skills, instrumentation and GLP process is desirable
• Team player, flexible and resourceful to meet targets with less support
