Junior Compliance Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Compliance Analyst to join our team in Singapore. You will support the maintenance of the company’s Capital Market Services Licence issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), working with stakeholders across the business to fulfil day-to-day compliance duties.

The primary focus of this role is to build a strong grounding in regulatory compliance and risk management requirements. As you develop in the role, you will have opportunities to contribute to how we evolve our compliance processes — including adoption of AI tools and refinements in process automation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of onboarding due diligence updates for the Senior Management and Board of Directors, including tracking status and progress of compliance projects.
• Perform day-to-day AML-CFT risk assessments, client onboarding reviews, ongoing monitoring, transaction monitoring, and record-keeping.
• Support the review and writing of operational policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring alignment with applicable MAS regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS Notice SFA04-N02).
• Assist with product listing on the platform, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Assist in Regulatory Compliance matters including policy reviews, preparation of training materials, and regulatory submissions.
• Support compliance audits and inspections.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and business units to ensure smooth implementation of policies and procedures.
• Other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g. Law, Business, or Finance).
• Some work experience in client onboarding, AML-CFT compliance, or regulatory reporting within a financial institution.
• Proficient in English with good writing skills.
• A team player who is self-driven, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changing requirements, and grow within the role.
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
