Junior Data Scientist (AI focused) - 12 Months Contract - Up to SGD6k

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist (AI focused). In this role, you will drive impactful data initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data science strategies to support key business decisions and operational enhancements.
• Design, build, and deploy advanced analytical models using tools like SQL, Tableau, Hive, and Presto to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
• Mentor and collaborate with data scientists and analysts to foster a culture of continuous learning and analytical excellence.
• Communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and metrics to enable scalable and efficient operations, while driving innovation and process improvements..

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, along with 2-4 years of experience supporting operations in a technical environment.
• Strong understanding of operational metrics and KPIs to evaluate team success and performance.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, including creating, optimizing, and maintaining complex queries, as well as experience with Big Data tools such as Tableau, Hive, Presto, R, and Python.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic insights through effective data storytelling.
• Deep knowledge of reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, and best practices in data visualization to support decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Additional qualifications include domain expertise in Customer Operations or similar areas, experience analyzing large databases, a track record of driving business impact through data science, and proficiency in leveraging AI tools
