Junior DevOps Engineer

This position is ideal for those seeking hands-on experience in virtualized infrastructure within a national security context. What you’ll do:
- Identify, define, analyze, and coordinate updates and maintenance requirements for a diverse technical architecture
- Maintain networks that support continuous workflow, including integration, delivery, testing, deployment, and monitoring to deliver applications efficiently and effectively
- Support automation and monitoring to release applications more frequently
- Develop creative solutions and scripting mechanisms to enhance capabilities
- Strategize for system scale, updates, backup, and recovery
- Enhance processes, technical documentation, metric gathering, and reporting
- Troubleshoot and engineer solutions for production, integration, and development environments
What you’ll need:
- DoD 8570 Certification(s) (or w/i 90 days of hire) - (ex: Sec+)
- Engineering or infrastructure development experience
- Experience with VMWare, Vsphere, and/or VCenter
- Windows/Linux System Administration experience
Bonus Points if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline
- Experience developing and maintaining automated systems
- Strong coordination, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively execute tasks, resolve issues, and meet challenging schedules
- Experience writing, modifying, automating, and executing scripts (Python, Shell, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
- Systems Security and architecture related certifications
- Understanding of DoD/IC Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes and concepts (IPAT, ASDS, DIACAP, DISA STIGs, etc.)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker
- Experience in research and development programs leveraging Scaled Agile Fram
Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI level government clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
