Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Junior Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities in commercial and/or residential environments. This role is ideal for an early-career electrician looking to build hands-on experience under the guidance of licensed electricians while developing technical skills and industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and/or residential settingsSupport wiring of lighting systems, outlets, panels, switches, and control devicesRead and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawingsPerform troubleshooting of electrical issues under supervisionUse hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectivelyEnsure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standardsMaintain clean and organized work areas at job sitesAssist with inspections and testing of electrical systemsCommunicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customersFollow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
