Junior Executive - Procurement

Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as Junior Executive –Procurement

Job Responsibilities

  • Source and establish reliable suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

  • Manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, including obtaining, evaluating, and negotiating supplier quotations.

  • Prepare and monitor delivery schedules in line with production plans, ensuring timely material availability.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and supply-related issues.

  • Support new product design and development activities by sourcing and arranging required materials and components.

  • Conduct inventory analysis and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.

  • Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and relevant documentation.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier performance improvement, and process optimization.

Person’s Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Textiles, or a related field from a recognized university.

  • Sound knowledge of yarn, liner gloves, fabrics, and related raw materials.

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Merchandising, or the Glove Manufacturing Industry.

  • Hands-on experience in Supply Chain functions related to handling fabrics, yarn, and other textile raw materials.

  • Strong understanding of sourcing, inventory management, supplier coordination, and procurement processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in both team-oriented and self-directed environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
