We are looking for a motivated Junior Controller / Financial Controller (all genders) to join our Financial Controlling team in Berlin for a 1-year contract. In this role, you won’t just be sitting behind an Excel sheet grinding numbers; you’ll be a key partner for the business. You will translate data into real, actionable insights and play an important interface role, communicating your findings directly to our management board and our parent company.

Your Role:

• Support the team during our monthly financial closing process by reviewing, summarizing, and adding context to flaconi’s monthly performance for the Management Board.

• Prepare regular internal and external financial reports, keeping a close eye on OPEX and CAPEX to pull out strategic insights for the business.

• Take ownership of maintaining our financial reporting tool, from managing data collection from our ERP system to mapping new structures and keeping user access in check.

• Roll up your sleeves to help with monthly estimates, regular planning rounds, and finding smart ways to make our internal processes smoother.

• Assist the team with ongoing projects and handle ad-hoc requests to make sure crucial reports are ready exactly when they're needed.
  
  

Your Profile

• 1+ years of experience in Controlling or FP&A, ideally in a fast-moving, dynamic environment (like retail or e-commerce).

• Good MS Office skills, with a very strong foundation in Excel (you know your way around formulas and data manipulation).

• A natural analytical mindset—you know how to communicate complex topics clearly, but you're also comfortable raising your hand and asking for help when you need it.

• An independent and self-motivated work style, while remaining a team player at heart. You’ll be working super closely with the rest of the team, so collaboration is key.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken), as we are a highly international team.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of HGB and IFRS.

• Any initial exposure to data warehouses, SQL, BI tools, or ERP systems.
