Junior Key Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Key Account Manager based in France.

In this role, you will support the management of key accounts, contributing directly to revenue, margin performance, and in-store execution across multiple markets. You will work closely with senior account managers, trade marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure strong forecast accuracy, optimal stock health, and impactful promotional strategies. This position offers strong exposure to end-to-end key account management, from sell-in and sell-out analysis to trade investment and inventory planning. Accountabilities

  • Support the execution of annual and quarterly key account plans aligned with revenue, margin, sell-in, and sell-out objectives across European retail partners.
  • Assist in sell-in negotiations, forecasting, launch planning, and order phasing in collaboration with senior key account management.
  • Monitor sales performance by retailer, market, and store level, identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Contribute to demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and stock management to ensure optimal inventory levels and healthy sell-through.
  • Track stock availability, weeks of cover, and inventory risks, supporting mitigation actions such as promotions, order adjustments, or assortment changes.
  • Coordinate with trade marketing, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely execution of promotional plans, launches, and in-store activations.
  • Support trade spend tracking and ROI analysis for promotions, campaigns, and commercial initiatives.
  • Prepare performance reports and assist in business reviews covering sell-in, sell-out, productivity, and category trends.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of commercial data including accruals, deductions, and performance metrics.
  • Requirements

    • 3–5 years of experience in key account support, commercial roles, sales operations, or retail management, ideally within beauty, FMCG, or consumer goods.
    • Exposure to European selective retail channels such as Sephora, Douglas, Boots, or similar partners.
    • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with interest in P&L, trade investment, and inventory management.
    • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence working with sales data and financial reporting.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across accounts and markets.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international, cross-functional environment.
    • Fluent in English; additional European languages are considered a plus.
    • Proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to work effectively in a remote and fast-moving environment.
