Responsibilities:
We are hiring a Lateral Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career recruiting professional, ideally with experience in financial services, to develop their skills in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
Primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
- Support senior recruiters throughout the full lifecycle of the lateral hiring process, from role creation through offer and onboarding;
- Source and identify talent through creative means, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn and industry networks for open and pipeline roles across PJT’s business functions;
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening, assessing background and fit against open roles;
- Coordinate and manage interview scheduling across multiple business units, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and interviewers;
- Prepare candidate briefing materials in advance of interview processes;
- Build Build and maintain candidate pipelines, cultivating relationships with prospective hires to support both immediate openings and longer-term talent needs;
- Collect and track interview feedback, ensuring timely follow-up with candidates and internal stakeholders;
- Assist with candidate onboarding logistics, including coordinating with HR Operations on new hire documentation and pre-start processes;
- Maintain and update recruiting materials, including offer packets, job descriptions, and onboarding documents;
- Partner with the Recruiting Operations and Analytics teams to generate reports and maintain data integrity in the applicant tracking system;
- Support the review and posting of open positions on the intranet and external job sites;
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and practices and proactively surface recommendations to the team;
- Coordinate and manage in person and virtual interview scheduling across multiple business units, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and interviewers;
- Remain current on recruiting trends and best practices, with a particular focus on financial services talent markets.
Qualifications:
PJT Partners seeks to hire a dynamic individual who is highly motivated, intelligent and a proven self-starter. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively and a positive attitude. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent;
- Approximately 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably within an investment bank, financial services firm or executive search firm focused on financial services;
- Strong MS Office skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and process a high volume of work under pressure while maintaining the highest quality;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and communicate effectively with professionals at all levels;
- Superb organization skills and attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, high quality document preparation;
- Ability to work independently as well as a desire to work in a team environment;
- Demonstration of a high level of integrity, discretion and professionalism;
- Willingness to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions;
- Experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter preferred;
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems; experience with Workday is a plus.
Expected annualized base salary of $75,000 to $85,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT
Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including
but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
