Job Description

As a Junior Project Manager for the Technology & Innovation team, you will drive end‑to‑end purchase order and invoice processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency across multiple cost centers. You will also contribute to optimizing procurement workflows by leveraging AI tools and establishing scalable operational processes. You will report to the Director, Governance & Portfolio Management / Chief of Staff and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders and invoices, including creating shopping carts for blanket and multi-use POs.
  • Monitor invoices against POs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with PO owners and vendors to ensure timely invoice submission and resolve payment-related inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain procurement and financial reports to track PO and invoice status across cost and profit centers.
  • Lead process optimization initiatives within the T&I team, including the use of AI tools to improve efficiency across procurement, finance, and onboarding processes.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience managing complex billing and invoice processes across multiple cost centers.
  • Knowledge of SAP, including SAP Project Systems.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as MS Copilot or similar platforms.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple functions and stakeholders.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Previous experience supporting Technology & Innovation or IT-related teams.
  • Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of vendor management systems and data maintenance in ERP environments.
  • Experience applying business metrics and KPIs to monitor operational performance.
