Junior Sous Chef

  • Support the daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with established recipes and portion controls
  • Monitor food storage, stock levels, and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
  • Supervise proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure operational efficiency
  • Assist in menu implementation and promotional activities
  • Support team scheduling, daily briefings, and staff coordination
  • Report operational issues and updates to the Executive Sous Chef
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
