Key Account Manager / Senior KAM Central & Eastern Europe - HM/SM

📊 Role Purpose:

You will lead ZURU’s rapidly growing Consumer Goods business across the hypermarket and supermarket channel in Poland and CEE, managing the full FMCG portfolio. With full P&L ownership, you will drive sales, profitability, and market share through strategic customer partnerships, commercial negotiations, and category growth initiatives. This is a high-impact role for an entrepreneurial, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about turning opportunities into results.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial performance across the HM/SM channel in Poland and CEE, driving sales growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, and achievement of key commercial targets.

  • Execute with excellence by maximizing the availability, visibility, and impact of ZURU brands through best-in-class distribution, merchandising, and marketing activation.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer growth, P&L objectives, successful product launches, and high-impact commercial initiatives.

  • Manage key accounts and strategic partnerships, building strong customer relationships that drive long-term mutual growth and business success.

  • Develop customer strategies that unlock growth opportunities, strengthen market position, and secure cross-functional support for execution.

  • Coordinate trade marketing across the region, aligning promotional plans, shopper marketing investments, and in-store activations to ensure consistent execution across Poland and CEE.

  • Foster Team Culture and Development: You will be cultivating a team environment that supports innovative market disruption and rapid growth, while resolving business challenges, building relationships, and enhancing capability development.

đź’ˇ Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3 - 6+ years’ experience working directly with top Polish and CEE hypermarket/supermarket retailers (Carrefour, Kaufland, Auchan, Leclerc, Tesco, Dino, Netto, Ĺ»abka, Selgross, or similar), either in an account manager, category manager, or other customer-facing sales position

  • An Entrepreneurial mentality, acting as an owner of your business

  • Track record of advancement and hunger for growth in role and responsibility

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Grocery or Pet Food experience preferred, but not necessary

  • Fluency in English and Polish; additional CEE language (Czech, Slovak, Hungarian or Romanian) a plus

  1. Short-term impact: You drive immediate growth by executing on existing momentum, brand launches, and growth plans. Strong execution of retail strategies and merchant relationships leading increased space both in and out of aisle. Strong promotion plan.

Long-term impact: You build a strong, data-driven partnership with the leading HM/SM retailers across Poland and CEE (Carrefour, Kaufland, Auchan, Leclerc, Tesco, Dino, Netto, Żabka and others), you help to position the company as a category leader, driving sustainable growth and brand equity. Strategic planning, guided innovation plans with NPD, and ensuring adaptation to stay ahead of retail trends ensure that the company remains competitive.
