Kids Pursuit Coordinator

Position Description:

The Kids Pursuit Coordinator at The Pursuit Church, Minot Campus, is a support leader of our ministry environments encompassing birth through 5th grade. This part-time role supports the ministry through assisting the director in creating safe, engaging and age-appropriate environments for kids and families during weekend services and special events. The ideal candidate is driven to see people participate and be equipped for ministry.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the scheduling of volunteers who regularly serve across the various environments of our kids ministry.
• Assist the director in the recruiting, onboarding, and training of volunteers who serve within Kids Pursuit to help build the various teams.
• Help develop teams by leveraging volunteer strengths within the ministry.
• Implement curriculum across the various kid's rooms and campuses.
• Lead within the ministry by building relationships with parents and volunteers in our local church in a way that they feel supported.
• Ensure the ministry is maintaining safety standards so all kids and leaders are safe and protected.
• Work collaboratively across our ministries as a local church to execute various events outside of our ongoing weekend responsibilities.

Other responsibilities:

• Be available for “all staff” moments where we are “all in” as a church.
• Engage in ongoing leadership development.
• Attend required regular weekly/monthly meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Kids Pursuit Director and Lead Team.

Position Requirements:

• Team Manager – Able to coordinate teams and keep track of large groups of people.
• Equipper – The ability to teach and equip others for ministry.
• Galvanizer – Can rally and unite people to a common team goal of being involved in making a difference.
• Team Builder – Experienced in recruiting, onboarding, and equipping a team.

– Participation in the life of The Pursuit Church (groups, worship service, serving, & giving)

– Use Social Media responsibly.
