Kitchen Assistant 砧板/支配
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support daily operations in a seafood and zi char kitchen. The role involves assisting in the preparation of fresh seafood, handling ingredients for high-volume service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This is a six-day work week position, with rest day on a weekday. Candidates must be able to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of seafood, including cleaning, scaling, gutting and portioning fish, prawns, crabs and shellfish.
• Prepare ingredients for zi char dishes such as chopping vegetables, slicing meat, and preparing sauces.
• Support the chefs during service to ensure smooth and timely food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of seafood and perishable ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
• Handle basic stock preparation and assist in maintaining adequate ingredient levels.
• Assist in receiving and checking daily seafood deliveries.
• Follow all food hygiene, safety and workplace regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Management.
Requirements
• Experience in seafood or zi char kitchen preferred.
• Familiar with handling and cleaning fresh seafood.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and high-temperature kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended hours.
• Team player with good attitude and willingness to learn
Working Hours
• 6 days per week | Rest day on a weekday | Required to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
