The <\/span>Kitchen/Direct Care<\/span><\/b> provides healthy meals for TGA students and live\-in\nstaff as well as maintains a safe, clean kitchen, in compliance with all\napplicable regulations.<\/span>
<\/p>

● High School diploma or GED<\/span>
<\/p>

● Maintain a state approved <\/span>Food Handler\u2019s License<\/span><\/b> Preferred Qualifications<\/span>
<\/p>

● ministry experience<\/span>
<\/p>

● The Kitchen/DC is\nresponsible to the Program Coordinator.<\/span>
<\/p>

Responsibilities: <\/span>will primarily serve as a minister to\nstudents in the program.<\/span>
<\/p>

Responsibilities include but not be\nlimited to:<\/span>
<\/p>

●\nLead prayer ● Engage in religious instruction<\/span>
<\/p>

● Work\nwith other departments to comply with all Texas DFPS regulations or COGNIA<\/span>
<\/p>

●\nParticipate in campus events and chapels as required<\/span>
<\/p>

●\nPrepare meals for the students<\/span>
<\/p>

●\nMaintain a clean kitchen which is at or above all standards set by the state<\/span>
<\/p>

● Order\nsupplies for the kitchen and maintains an adequate inventory<\/span>
<\/p>

●\nCreate healthy menus appropriate for students, including those with dietary\nissues<\/span>
<\/p>

● Serve\nthe food<\/span>
<\/p>

Direct\nCare:<\/span>
<\/p>

● Supervision (following staff\ncheck off list responsibilities), mentoring, and interacting with residents\nduring various activities, which may include but is not limited to online\nschool, TC Curriculum, work periods, free time, and recreational activities<\/span>
<\/p>

● Administer discipline as is\nnecessary according to THRIVE policies<\/span>
<\/p>

● Minister to students as\nopportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions<\/span>
<\/p>

● Become a mentor to students<\/span>
<\/p>

● All other duties as assigned by\nDirector or Program Manager<\/span>
<\/p>
