Kitchen Manager

The <\/span><\/span>Kitchen Manager<\/span><\/b> <\/span>provides healthy meals for BKATC students and live\-in staff as well as maintains a safe, clean kitchen, in compliance with all applicable regulations.<\/span>

● High School diploma or GED<\/span>
<\/p>

● Maintain a state approved <\/span><\/span>Food Handler\u2019s License<\/span><\/b> <\/span>Preferred Qualifications (Will Provide Training)<\/span>
<\/p>

● ministry experience<\/span>
<\/p>

● The Kitchen Manager is responsible to the Food Services Manager.<\/span>
<\/p>

Responsibilities: <\/span><\/span>will primarily serve as a minister to students in the program.<\/span>
<\/p>

Responsibilities include but not be limited to:<\/span>
<\/p>

● Lead prayer ● Engage in religious instruction<\/span>
<\/p>

● Work with other departments to comply with all regulations and TCUSA Accreditation Standards<\/span>
<\/p>

● Participate in campus events and chapels as required<\/span>
<\/p>

● Prepare meals for the students<\/span>
<\/p>

● Maintain a clean kitchen which is at or above all standards set by the state<\/span>
<\/p>

● Order supplies for the kitchen and maintains an adequate inventory<\/span>
<\/p>

● Create healthy menus appropriate for students, including those with dietary issues<\/span>
<\/p>

● Serve the food<\/span>
<\/p>

Direct Care:<\/span>
<\/p>

● Supervision (following staff check off list responsibilities), mentoring, and interacting with residents during various activities, which may include but is not limited to work periods, free time, and recreational activities<\/span>
<\/p>

● Administer discipline as is necessary according to BKATC policies<\/span>
<\/p>

● Minister to students as opportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions<\/span>
<\/p>

● Become a mentor to students<\/span>
<\/p>

● All other duties as assigned by Food Services Manager or Program Manager<\/span>
<\/p>
