Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Washes, cleans, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly.
Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas including floors, counters, workstations, and storage areas.
Assists with basic food preparation tasks as instructed by chefs, such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients.
Ensures proper storage of ingredients, checking dates and labeling items correctly.
Operates kitchen equipment safely and reports any malfunctions to supervisors.
Follows all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
Assists in receiving deliveries and storing goods in the correct locations.
Maintains high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and professional conduct.
Supports the kitchen team during busy periods, banquets, and events.
Adheres to hotel policies regarding punctuality, attendance, and professional behavior.
Performs any additional duties assigned by the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef to support kitchen operations.
Core Competencies:
Fluent in English & Italian is a must. Must communicate clearly and politely with colleagues.
Able to handle a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to learn.
Flexible with scheduling to meet business needs.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties efficiently.
Committed to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards.
Maintains a positive, cooperative, and professional demeanor with colleagues.
Must hold the required authorization to work in a European country.
