We are seeking reliable and detail\-oriented<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Kitchen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Staff<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> to assist with daily food service operations at<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>CFB Gagetown<\/span><\/span><\/b>. The successful candidates will<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>support<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>meal preparation, food handling, and<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>kitchen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>maintenance while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards in a fast\-paced environment.<\/span>

Shift Schedule<\/span><\/span><\/b>

  • Workdays:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Thursday to Monday<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  • Shift Length:<\/span><\/span><\/b> 8.5 hours per shift (including 1 x 30\-minute unpaid meal break)<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul>
    Available Shifts:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • Early Shift:<\/span><\/span><\/b> 05:30 \u2013 14:00 (4 positions)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Late Shift:<\/span><\/span><\/b> 10:30 \u2013 19:00 (4 positions)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul>
      Note: Preference will be given to candidates who can commit consistently to the same shift to minimize training time and ensure operational efficiency.<\/span><\/span><\/i>

      Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/span><\/div>
      • Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>kitchen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>areas, equipment, and utensils<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Support<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>food service operations, including serving and portioning meals<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Work collaboratively with<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>kitchen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>staff<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and supervisors to ensure smooth operations<\/span>

        • Ability to work assigned shifts (early morning or late shift, Thursday\u2013Monday)<\/span>

        • Strong attention to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness<\/span>

        • Ability to work in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment<\/span>

            Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>

            • Previous experience in a commercial<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>kitchen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>or food service environment<\/span>

            • Familiarity with food safety standards and<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>kitchen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>operations<\/span>

            • Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance
