Join our vibrant culinary team as a Kitchen Team Member in the heart of West Thurrock! We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to contribute to our kitchen's success and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes, including meat, fish, and vegetables, according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Wash, sanitise, and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to the highest standards
- Assist with general kitchen porter duties, including waste disposal and equipment maintenance to support kitchen operations
- Properly store and rotate food items to minimise waste and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service
- Assist in adjusting menu items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary concerns
- Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
- Ensure adequate supplies of clean utensils, crockery, and other kitchen equipment
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth operations
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
