KYC: North America Markets Analyst
As a Know Your Customer (KYC) Analyst in Client Onboarding and KYC, you will perform Know Your Customer activities and documentation analysis to support customer renewals, remediation, and amendments while applying relevant regulatory and internal requirements.
Job responsibilities
- Perform Know Your Customer tasks and analyze client documentation to support approvals for renewals, remediation, and amendments to existing customers
- Identify and apply regulatory requirements across applicable jurisdictions and internal procedures
- Execute anti-money laundering policies and internal procedures in line with local and global principles
- Complete reference data setup activities required for client onboarding and maintenance
- Respond to business inquiries and advise stakeholders on onboarding requirements and status
- Conduct quality control activities to help ensure client records are complete and compliant with applicable rules
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures to reflect current processes and controls
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology, Client Services, and regional and global onboarding teams to resolve issues and progress onboarding activities
- Track and follow up on pending client documentation by coordinating with internal lines of business
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as requested
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- University degree
- Fluent English (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate formally in English on a daily basis
- 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong adaptability to change
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience performing Know Your Customer reviews for renewals, remediation, or account maintenance
- Familiarity with anti-money laundering and Know Your Customer policies, procedures, and documentation standards
- Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (for example, Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology, and Client Services)
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on control and data quality
