L2 Application Support Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior/Mid-Level/ Junior L2 Application Support Engineer to provide production support for Java-based applications. The role involves incident management, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and operational support to ensure application stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Java-based applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and production issues.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and issue resolution.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Coordinate rollback activities during failed deployments.
- Update and maintain configuration and operational documentation.
- Restart, monitor, and support batch processing activities.
- Participate in incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting applications in production environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with batch processing and application monitoring.
- Ability to troubleshoot application-related issues effectively.
Experience
- Approximately 1–9 years of relevant experience in Application Support, Production Support, or related roles.
