As part of its continued growth in Korea, the\ncompany is looking for a senior R&D professional to lead local laboratory\nactivities, drive formulation projects, and ensure strong technical,\nregulatory, and customer\-facing standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

The Lab Formulator will be responsible for\ndeveloping new color cosmetics formulas from scratch, including product\nformulation, shade development, testing, documentation, and scale\-up support.\nThis role will focus on face, lip, or eye makeup formulations, depending on the\ncandidate\u2019s technical expertise.<\/span>

The position requires strong hands\-on\nformulation experience in color cosmetics, with the ability to work on product\ndevelopment from concept stage through testing, validation, documentation, and\nindustrial scale\-up. The successful candidate will also contribute to\ninnovation monitoring by studying skincare, liquid foundation, and Korean\nscientific trends, and by sharing insights with internal R&D teams.<\/span>

Product Formulation and Development<\/span><\/b>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Formulate new color cosmetics products\nfrom scratch, with a focus on face application, lip makeup, or eye makeup\ndepending on the assigned profile.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Carry out color development and shade\nadjustment according to project requirements.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop formulas that meet customer\nexpectations, technical standards, performance requirements, and regulatory\nrequirements.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support the creation of innovative\nformulas aligned with Korean market trends and global beauty standards.<\/span>

Testing and Technical Validation<\/span><\/b>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct stability, compatibility, and\nsafety\-related tests for developed formulas.<\/span>

Scale\-Up and Industrialization Support<\/span><\/b>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support the scale\-up of developed\nproducts with Korea\-based external partners, C2, or CG.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Work closely with internal teams and\nexternal manufacturing partners to ensure formulas can be transferred\neffectively from lab scale to production scale.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and resolve formulation or\nprocess\-related issues during scale\-up.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure product quality, consistency, and\ncompliance throughout the development and scale\-up process.<\/span>

Raw Materials, Packaging, and Supplier\nCoordination<\/span><\/b>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and evaluate relevant raw\nmaterials, packaging, and ingredients for new product development.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Organize supplier seminars and\nparticipate in supplier discussions.<\/span>

Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in one of the\nfollowing fields: Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry,\nRelated scientific discipline<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Around 5 years of relevant experience in\ncosmetic formulation or product development.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong hands\-on experience in color\ncosmetics formulation is required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in one or more of the\nfollowing formulation areas is preferred: Base makeup / face makeup, Liquid\nfoundation, Skincare\-related color cosmetics, Liquid lip and cheek products,\nLip stylo, Lip emulsion, Eyeliner, Mascara.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
