Lab Technician

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will join a team of two laboratory technicians in supporting the daily operations of the Bioassay, Biological Raw Materials (BRM), and Cell & Gene Therapy laboratories. This position is responsible for ensuring laboratory readiness, maintaining organization, and supporting operational efficiency across multiple laboratory groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and compliance with established standards.
  • Order, receive, inventory, organize, and stock laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables.
  • Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and documentation for laboratory equipment and controlled environments.
  • Support LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with a variety of operational, organizational, and administrative tasks that support day-to-day laboratory activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.
  • Complete assigned responsibilities efficiently, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork.
  • Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • HS diploma (Associate's degree in Chemistry, or related discipline, preferred)
    • Ability to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

    • Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment is preferred.
    • Experience supporting laboratory operations, inventory management, or equipment maintenance is a plus.

    Working schedule will be Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional overtime as required. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
