Job Grade: 114
Pay Range: 18.27 - 18.67
Work Schedule: 6:00 pm - 2:30 am rotating weekends
Shift Differentials: 9% Shift 2 and 13% Shift 3 and 8% Weekend

Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.

What to Expect

Pay Range: 18.27 - 18.67
Work Schedule: 6:00 pm - 2:30 am rotating weekends
Shift Differentials: 9% Shift 2 and 13% Shift 3 and 8% Weekend

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to

  • Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
  • Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
  • Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
  • Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
  • High School or GED required
  • No Experience Required
