Overview

This person will be responsuble for verifying production samples' accuracy for meeting specs and reporting noncomformities.

Responsibilities

• Verify production samples meet customer specifications and report nonconformities; maintain sample records, certificates of analysis, and statistical data.
• Analyze receiving, purchasing, and sales samples for chemical composition and recovery rates.
• Review and update laboratory work instructions and procedures.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and related documentation.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of metal chemistry knowledge or laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
