LAC Storage Logistics Analyst
International Shipment Management
- Coordinate and monitor international maritime and air shipments across all stages: origin, transit, arrival and final delivery.
- Track critical dates: including shipment departures, transit times, arrival and last-mile delivery; to ensure contractual deadlines are met.
- Identify and promptly escalate operational deviations, supporting the team in implementing corrective actions to minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Maintain permanent communication with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and customers.
- Act as the operational point of contact between Trina Storage and external logistics service providers.
Trade Documentation & Customs Support
- Manage and verify the accuracy of trade documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (BL), airway bills (AWB), certificates of origin and any other documents required per shipment.
- Support customs clearance processes by ensuring the availability and accuracy of all documentation required for cargo release in a timely manner.
- Operate in accordance with applicable regulations on free trade agreements, Rules of Origin, tariff classification, Incoterms and customs procedures, under the guidance of the Senior Operations Specialist.
Operational Control & Reporting
- Update and control shipment information in internal tracking systems and contribute to logistics performance reports as directed.
- Support the Senior Operations Specialist in data analysis and reporting tasks related to logistics and service operations.
Cost Tracking & Invoice Validation
- Monitor logistics costs and support the validation of invoices and/or payment statements from transport and associated service providers.
Claims Management
- Support the coordination and follow-up of claims with carriers and insurers, including the collection of supporting documentation, incident reporting, and resolution tracking
Internal Coordination
- Liaise with internal areas including Sales, Fulfillment, Service, Logistics HQ, Finance and HR to ensure alignment on logistics and operational matters.
- Contribute to administrative tasks related to BESS project operations when required by the Senior Operations Specialist.
Academic Background
- Technical or professional degree in International Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years in international logistics and foreign trade.
- Demonstrable experience in import/export document management.
- Previous work with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Industrial or logistics sector experience preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Import and export processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Trade documentation (BL, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
- Maritime, air and road transport operations.
- Free trade agreements, Rules of Origin, tariff classification, Incoterms and customs procedures.
- Microsoft Excel: intermediate level (formulas, pivot tables).
- Desirable: Power Automate and Power BI (or equivalent BI/automation tools) – intermediate level.
Languages
- English: intermediate level (B1/B2). Ability to hold professional conversations and handle written correspondence with international counterparts.

Work Condition
- Work Location: Santiago de Chile (With travels to project site as required).
- Work Modality: Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week on Office or Site (subject to coordination)
