Land Surveyor

A qualified and experienced Land Surveyor with about five (5) years of experience supervise the survey and setting out works for the duration of the contract. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our construction projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all surveying activities and setting out works for the project. Mainly on Bored Piling and Ground Improvement related works.
  • Ensure all survey work is performed accurately and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform detailed topographic and boundary surveys as required.
  • Prepare and maintain survey records, including field notes, sketches, and digital data.
  • Utilize modern surveying equipment and software to collect, process, and analyze survey data.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure survey activities align with project timelines and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with construction teams to provide clear instructions and guidance based on survey data.
  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to survey data and site measurements.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures for all survey activities.
  • Ensure all survey instruments and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of survey data and adherence to project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports and maps for project documentation.
  • Maintain an organized record of all survey data, including electronic files and hardcopies.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress and findings of survey activities.

Role Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Land Surveying or a related field.
  • Valid license as a Land Surveyor.
  • Relevant experience in land surveying and setting out works, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in modern surveying equipment and software (e.g., GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in large-scale construction projects.
