Language Resource Coordinator
Job Summary: The Language Resource Coordinator supports the day-to-day delivery of language services across the organization by creating and preparing content for multilingual use, coordinating translation and interpretation projects and ensuring timely, accurate language support for internal customers. This role is responsible for managing translation requests, coordinating interpretation services, and maintaining project documentation and tracking systems. The position serves as a key point of contact for language service requests and helps ensure high-quality service delivery through effective communication, organization, and attention to detail. Success in this role requires strong customer focus, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Translation Project Coordination
- Create and prepare translatable materials, ensuring clarity, proper formatting, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Coordinate end-to-end translation projects, including request intake, document preparation, submission, tracking, and delivery.
- Perform content recreation and localization by recreating source materials into designated target languages, ensuring exact replication of layout, formatting, structure, and visual elements using tools such as Adobe Acrobat and InDesign; applying contextual adaptation as needed to maintain clarity, usability, and consistency across all language versions
- Perform quality and completeness checks on translated materials to verify formatting accuracy, version control, and alignment with source content.
- Set up and coordinate interpretation services, including over-the-phone, virtual, and in-person interpretation requests.
- Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and logistical coordination with internal stakeholders and language service providers.
- Track interpretation service usage, delivery metrics, and related project documentation.
- Conduct quality checks for completeness, formatting accuracy, and version control of translated content.
- Maintain organized documentation and records of translation activities.
Systems Administration and Documentation
- Utilize designated language support systems and tracking tools to manage translation and interpretation requests.
- Maintain accurate project records, files, metrics, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure consistent adherence to established processes, service standards, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain organized electronic files, repositories, and project archives.
Customer Service and Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a professional point of contact for employees and internal customers requesting language services.
- Communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide responsive, customer-focused support while managing multiple concurrent requests and priorities.
- Support the delivery of high-quality language services through proactive communication and follow-through.
Content Preparation and Technology Support
- Prepare, edit, and format documents and materials using Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
- Support document layout, file preparation, and formatting for multilingual content, including PDFs, presentations, and training materials.
- Assist with maintaining standards for document quality, usability, and accessibility.
- Support ongoing improvements to language service processes, tools, and documentation practices.
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, communications, language services, customer service, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects, requests, or workflows in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Experience working with translation, interpretation, content management, or document preparation processes preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat; experience with Adobe InDesign or Illustrator preferred.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize language support platforms, tracking systems, and related technology tools.
- Strong file management, document formatting, and records management skills.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Languages, Human Resources, or other related field
- Combination of experience and education may be substituted for degree
