LatAm - DevSecOps Technical Architect

We currently have a career opportunity for a Technical Architect - DevSecOps (AWS) to join our team. While our headquarters are in St. Louis, MO, this role is remote and can be located anywhere in Latin America

We are looking for a Technical Architect - DevSecOps (AWS) who is passionate about securing cloud platforms and software delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevSecOps architecture, AWS cloud security, and CI/CD pipeline design, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and compliant engineering solutions.

Define and drive DevSecOps architecture and best practices across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Design and enforce cloud security controls and governance frameworks within AWS environments.
Partner with security teams to review, triage, and remediate security findings, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Architect and guide secure software delivery pipelines, including integration of security checks into CI/CD workflows.
Establish standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns for secure cloud and pipeline implementations.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Oversee implementation of automation for security, compliance, and remediation processes.
Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for DevSecOps and cloud security initiatives.

Strong experience in DevSecOps architecture and implementation.
Deep expertise in AWS cloud environments, including architecture and security best practices.
Solid understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
Experience driving enterprise-scale security remediation efforts.
Ability to operate at both architecture and design level, while stepping into hands-on execution when required.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience working across distributed teams.
Preferred: Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines such as SonarQube, Snyk, and Clair.
Preferred: Exposure to cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and threat detection tools.
Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks.
Preferred: Experience working in large enterprise environments with mature security organizations.
Preferred: Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
