Laundry Supervisor (Operations & Team Management)

Job Summary:

Experienced supervisor to lead laundry operations, ensure quality standards, and drive team performance in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the linens/laundry section to ensure efficiency and service quality
• Implement and maintain quality control standards across all laundry processes
• Assign tasks and provide clear work instructions to the team
• Train and coach laundry staff on operational procedures and best practices
• Plan schedules and allocate manpower based on operational needs
• Support recruitment and selection of laundry personnel
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen/laundry area
• Enforce workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in laundry or warehouse operations with team leadership responsibilities
• Proven experience leading a team of at least 10 staff
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including extended standing hours
• Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and physically demanding environment
