How will you make an impact?

  • Technical design and architecture of fullstack solutions, ensuring scalability, performance
    and security across both frontend and backend systems.
  • Drive engineering excellence across the team by establishing and championing coding standards,
    design patterns and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering growth and capability
    development aligned with the Quantium engineering capability framework.
  • Collaborate with product managers, delivery managers and stakeholders to translate business
    requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture reviews and design forums for major features and
    system components.
  • Own and drive the engineering roadmap for assigned products and services, balancing technical
    debt reduction with feature development.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust deployment practices and operational
    reliability.
  • Lead incident response, conduct post-mortems and implement systemic improvements to prevent
    recurrence.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices across the team.
    Contribute to cross-team technical initiatives, knowledge sharing and the broader Quantium
    engineering community.
  • Actively take part and contribute in scrum meetings to partner with all team members including the
    product and delivery managers.

The superpowers you'll be bringing to the team:

Core Experience

  • Engineering degree – B.E / M.E in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and
    Communications, or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in a
    technical leadership role.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade fullstack applications across both
    frontend and backend
  • Experience with engineering enterprise-grade applications in the Microsoft technology stack (.NET,
    C#, ASP.NET Core) – on-premise or on-cloud
  • Very good experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving complex web applications involving
    complicated technology stacks.
  • Experience in having technical accountability for managing multiple applications simultaneously and
    leading a team of around five to eight engineers.
  • ASP.NET Core – MVC, Razor Pages; Angular, React JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, JS-based build
    tools, LESS/SASS.
  • .NET, .NET Core, C#, API design and development, RESTful services; SQL, NoSQL – strong in
    high-volume CRUD concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of common identity, access and security technologies that cross-cut the
    application.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies – Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services; containerisation and
    Kubernetes.
  • Strong and deep knowledge of DVCS like Git; experience working in Agile teams that practise
    CI/CD.
  • Deep understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms; very strong in design
    philosophies and principles – OOP, SOLID, REST
  • Excellent vocal and written communication skills to deal with team members and stakeholders.
  • Exhibits excellent judgement, strikes the right balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • Owns end to end, results oriented, pushes for high standards and has a gets-done mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Experience with system design for scalability, reliability and performance optimisation. - remove the bullet point symbol alone.
