Lead / Assistant Manager – Donor Reporting & Budgetory Control

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and mission\-aligned\nAssistant Manager to support donor reporting, budgeting, and fund utilization\nacross programs. This role is critical to ensuring that donor funds are managed\nresponsibly, financial reporting is accurate and timely, and budgets are\nplanned and monitored effectively. The position requires close collaboration\nwith program and finance teams to strengthen compliance, improve cost control,\nand build transparent, efficient financial systems that support organisational\nimpact.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Manage donor\-wise fund\nutilisation in line with grant conditions, approved budgets, and internal\ncontrols.'<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare donor financial\nreports, utilisation certificates, and supporting schedules in a timely and\naccurate manner.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Coordinate annual\nbudgeting and periodic re\-forecasting in partnership with program and support\nteams.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor budget\nperformance, analyse variances, and support teams in strengthening financial\nplanning and cost control.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support compliance with\ndonor, statutory, and organisational requirements, including documentation for\naudits and reviews.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Identify and implement\nprocess improvements that enhance transparency, accountability, and operational\nefficiency.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Education\n& Experience<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in\ncommerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CA / CMA (completed or\npursuing) will be an advantage.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>2\u20136 years\nof relevant experience in budgeting, donor reporting, grant finance, or\nfinancial planning and analysis.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Prior experience in the\ndevelopment, nonprofit, trust, or society sector will be strongly preferred.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Working knowledge of\ndonor compliance requirements, budgeting cycles, and financial reporting\nprocesses is desirable.<\/span><\/span>
