Lead derivatives strategy and implementation

You will lead the design and execution of derivatives strategy and implementation. You will contribute to crypto derivatives trading initiatives and work across functions to deliver secure and scalable trading infrastructure. You will apply your deep knowledge of OTC derivatives, market microstructure, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant and efficient operations. You will collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology and mentor teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead large scale regulatory and infrastructure projects in the crypto derivatives domain.
• Collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology to deliver cross-functional projects.
• Oversee delivery of complex projects by managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Build or oversee a crypto derivatives trading desk or related trading infrastructure.
• Develop strategic direction for derivatives initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a senior trading or trading-adjacent role with a deep focus on OTC derivatives (e.g., IR Swaps, FX Forwards/Options, Structured Products).
• Strong understanding of the entire derivatives trade lifecycle and market microstructure.
• Experience building a crypto derivatives trading desk or leading trading-related infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of derivatives regulatory frameworks (ISDA/CSA) and the regulatory landscape.
• Experience in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively across multiple departments (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology).
