As a Lead Developer (Backend) at Weya.ai, you\u2019ll join our founding team and take full ownership of backend systems that power our real\-time AI communication stack.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

You'll architect, build, and optimize scalable, secure backend services while collaborating across AI, frontend, and telephony teams.   • Architect and build scalable microservices using Node.js or Go (Golang)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
    • Design clean, secure APIs and data pipelines for real\-time voice and chat systems<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
      • Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS (App Services, containers, databases)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
        • Optimize backend systems for performance, cost\-efficiency, and reliability<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>
          • Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to launch new features rapidly<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

            • Own deployments, monitoring, and backend stability in a production environment<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

                • We're looking for the candidates with hands\-on experience building and scaling systems from scratch, including owning <\/span><\/span>0→1<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>product development and scaling them reliably in production environments. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                  <\/li>
                • 4\-5 years of backend or full\-stack experience with <\/span><\/span>Node.js, Go (Golang), React, PostgreSQL or MongoDB<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
                • Strong understanding of system design, microservice architecture, and clean code practices<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
                • Experience deploying and scaling cloud applications on <\/span><\/span>Azure or AWS<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
                • Proven track record of delivering end\-to\-end features in <\/span><\/span>SaaS, voice tech, or AI\-driven platforms<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

                • A product\-first mindset \u2014 you think about UX and business impact, not just code<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
