Lead Engineer/Specialist - Electrical

The Opportunity:

Kent is on the hunt for a Lead Electrical Engineer to take the lead on complex, high-profile energy and Oil & Gas projects delivering cutting-edge HV and LV electrical design solutions across FEED, detailed engineering, Greenfield developments and Brownfield upgrades. This exciting opportunity will see you driving the delivery of power system studies, relay coordination, substations, motor control systems, vendor package management and electrical equipment design while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, constructability and technical excellence. Working within a collaborative project environment, you’ll mentor and support engineering teams, manage project scope and schedules, build strong client relationships and play a key role in delivering innovative solutions on major projects.

In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, T3s, and Client Leads to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the ongoing Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
  • Collaborate with the team and Leads develop work backlog in DevOps, assist in Sprint planning, and participate in review meetings.
  • Work with Project team lead on vendor engagement for equipment and service sourcing.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly activity programs across all facilities, ensuring schedules are accurate and based on reference documents, scheduling logic, and network requirements.
  • Generate three-month forecast reports for calibration requirements and ensure synchronization with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the allocation of resources based on activity type, location, and material availability.
  • Monitor and manage tickets relate to Integrity Critical systems and ensure timely closure of the tickets.
  • Raise JDE service requests for mechanical isolations, electrical requirements, and other tasks as needed.
  • Maintain the site roster and assist in organizing site visits, ensuring that all site mobilization requirements are fulfilled.
