Our projects include new structure construction, including PT & rebar installation (stressing and grouting), bridge inspection/repair, unbonded PT repair, barrier cable installation and repair, FRP installation, bridge jacking/bearing replacement, and more.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Hand to support and oversee concrete restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on field experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a solid understanding of restoration processes.
Responsibilities:
Chipping, grinding, cutting, and detailing concrete
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints/details
Ability to install reinforcing steel, form, and place concrete
Experience running crews and leading daily site activities
Experience with daily documentation including:
Safety paperwork (FLRA), pre-work, etc.
Production reporting
Incident and accident reporting
Job Requirements:
3-5+ years of prior construction experience
Post tensioning, injection work, epoxy and cementitious coating applications experience is a preferred
Enrollment into union Liuna 1611 (Construction and Specialized Workers Union) is required after the first 2 weeks of employment
Must be open to traveling
Must be flexible in working day shift and night shift hours, depending on the job schedules
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Comfortable working at high heights as some projects may require man lifts or scaffold systems
Comfortable working on or around water as some projects may require this
Reliable transportation to travel to and from project sites locally and / or out of town (if selected for out-of-town projects)
