Lead Human Resources Assistant (Military/Office Automation)
About the Position: Serves as the Lead Human Resources Assistant (Military/Office Automation) responsible for directing and guiding 3-5 Human Resources Assistants at the GS-05 or military equivalent. Position provides technical expertise, guidance and leadership to the Processing Element of the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).
Provide routine technical assistance or training to users of automated personnel database systems.
Brief applicants on processes or procedures pertaining to their organization.
Maintain databases to ensure accurate tracking or record keeping.
Review supporting documents to resolve discrepancies in personnel records.
Distribute workload evenly among team members.
Ensure new employees are trained and have skills they need to perform well.
