Lead Production Plastics PL Thursday, Friday, Saturday PM

General Summary: Provides front line oversight, including but not limited to: scheduling work, overseeing quality and safety processes, and ensuring machinery is set up correctly for the department under the direction of the Plastics Manager.

What is the Job?

• Direct daily workflow, communicate priorities, and report any production or quality deviations to the Manager/Supervisor promptly.

• Support team performance by providing clear instructions, answering routine questions, and escalating complex issues when needed.

• Ensure quality standards are met through proper checks, documentation, adherence to work instructions, and consistent use of required PPE.

• Train new employees, foster positive working relationships, motivate team members, and maintain fair, consistent leadership practices.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by offering feedback, recommending process or policy enhancements, and participating in reviews and department activities.

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment while operating necessary tools and upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and company values.
