Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity targets.
Manage and develop a manufacturing organization consisting of 2–3 direct-report engineers/supervisors and approximately 50–70 shop-floor associates.
Build a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Drive production execution while ensuring customer commitments are met in a timely, quality-focused, and cost-effective manner.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Planning, Sourcing, and EHS to resolve operational challenges and improve business performance.
Identify, prioritize, and execute Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Lead projects focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, yield enhancement, waste elimination, and process simplification.
Establish and monitor operational KPIs including productivity, labor utilization, throughput, inventory accuracy, work order completion, customer complaints, and quality metrics.
Implement and sustain standard work, visual management, problem-solving methodologies, and operational excellence practices.
Support workforce capability development through structured training and skill-building programs.
Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and Environmental Health & Safety standards.
Promote a Kaizen culture and facilitate continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing organization.
Coach and guide junior engineers, production team leaders, and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Shop Floor operations, Project Management
Demonstrated people leadership capability with strong conflict resolution, employee engagement, and performance management skills.
Hands-on experience driving Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through projects such as: Cost reduction, Quality improvement, Yield enhancement, Productivity improvement, Process simplification
Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing teams and driving operational performance.
Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across local and global teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to drive solutions and influence outcomes.
Working knowledge of manufacturing performance metrics, operational planning, and production execution.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex operational issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Experience leading Kaizen events and operational excellence initiatives.
Strong project management and execution capabilities.
Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
Experience developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Knowledge of manufacturing compliance, quality systems, and EHS requirements.
