Lead Security Dispatch
Job Description Summary:
As the Lead Dispatch Security Officer, you play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the entire facility. You are responsible for overseeing the continuous monitoring and review of security surveillance, ensuring that every call for aid or assistance is promptly and effectively addressed. Your expert judgment guides the deployment of security personnel in real time, allowing the team to respond swiftly and appropriately to any situation.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist with training and serve as a resource to team members to support performance, engagement, and adherence to company standards
Support daily operations by monitoring work areas, guest interactions, and service flow for quality, efficiency, and safety
Serve as a shift lead and escalation point for resolving basic team member or guest concerns, referring complex issues to management as needed
Watches cameras and monitors surveillance within the scope of Security responsibility
Uses digital recording equipment to download footage as needed and/or requested
Works closely with the property Surveillance department to track suspicious and/or unusual activity
Reports suspicious and/or unusual activity to property Security employees for further investigation
Captures and prints photos from the monitoring system
Remains up to date and fully familiar with the property layout and locations of various alarm systems
Directs responding units immediately to the location of active alarms
Demonstrates working knowledge of smoke control panels for manual operation if required
Collaborates with law enforcement and courts in responding to subpoenas
Assists Risk Management and Human Resources with investigations
Assists Casino Security Officers with duties as needed
Handles escalated issues within the dispatch room and supports daily operational communication
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1 year of casino security, law enforcement, surveillance, military, or EMT experience
Demonstrated ability to guide and motivate peers in a high-volume or guest-facing environment
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to deliver coaching, relay expectations, and assist in conflict resolution
Reliable and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and support shift coordination
Flexible to adapt to changing business needs, schedules, and guest volumes
Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
Requirements
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
At least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
