Job Summary
The Lead Sign Installer is responsible for the successful and safe transport, installation and removal of a variety of signage including illuminated and structural signs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication with clients and team members, and the ability to troubleshoot installation challenges. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to professionally delivering high-quality signage solutions on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and service signs – Install and service various types of signage, including wall signs, blade signs, channel letters, and structural supports. Tasks include drilling, pouring concrete foundations, and securely mounting signs while adhering to safety protocols
- Troubleshoot installation and repair signs – Identify and resolve installation challenges, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed. Conduct routine maintenance, replace bulbs, and repair damaged components to keep signage in optimal condition
- Perform electrical work – Wire and connect illuminated signs to power sources, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Conduct site surveys – Assess and document site conditions for accurate project planning and installation execution
- Transport materials safely – Load, transport, and unload signs, tools, and materials securely to and from job site
- Prepare installation sites – Remove old signage, prepare mounting surfaces, and ensure proper electrical connections before installation
- Follow safety protocols – Operate tools and equipment in accordance with company and industry safety standards, adhering to all policies and procedures during installation and maintenance
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment – Perform general upkeep on trucks, tools, and machinery to ensure proper function, cleanliness, and security
- Ensure job site cleanliness – Clean the installation area upon completion of work, disposing of debris and properly storing materials and equipment

Work Location: On the road
