LEASING MANAGER
Job Summary
We are seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee and manage all leasing matters for the Company’s food court, coffee shop, and F&B operations. The role involves sourcing and evaluating suitable retail spaces, negotiating tenancy terms, managing landlord relationships, handling leasing documentation, and supporting the Company’s business expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify suitable locations for new food court, coffee shop, and F&B concepts.
- Conduct market research and site analysis, including footfall, surrounding competition, rental trends, and business potential.
- Liaise and negotiate with landlords, property agents, and mall management on lease terms, renewals, and tenancy matters.
- Review tenancy agreements and ensure compliance with lease terms and business requirements.
- Monitor lease expiry dates and manage timely renewals, relocations, or exit plans.
- Work closely with Management on leasing strategies, site selection, rental negotiations, and business expansion planning to support the Company’s growth and operational needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, and external stakeholders.
- Handle tenancy disputes, rental revisions, and leasing-related matters.
- Support Management in expansion planning, site acquisition, and strategic business growth.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of lease agreements, negotiations, site visits, and tenancy matters.
- Follow up closely on pending approvals, handovers, and leasing matters to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate and follow up on outlet setup approvals, licence applications, renewals, and compliance matters with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must possess proven leasing experience in food courts, coffee shops, or similar F&B retail environments, with a good understanding of the operational and business requirements of such setups.
- Good understanding of tenancy agreements, lease structures, and rental negotiation practices.
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s retail and F&B leasing market.
- Experience in site sourcing, location analysis, and expansion planning will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Must be proficient in handling leasing paperwork, documentation, tenancy agreements, and record-keeping with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

- Understanding of food court and coffee shop operational requirements, including space planning and customer flow.
- Familiarity with landlord, mall, and property management operations.
- Familiarity with F&B licensing and regulatory requirements, including outlet setup approvals, licence applications, renewals, and compliance matters, with the ability to coordinate and follow up with relevant authorities, landlords, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Awareness of competitor activities and market trends in the F&B industry.
- Understanding of business growth strategies, site expansion planning, and overall commercial viability.
Follow-up & Coordination Skills
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills to ensure leasing matters are completed within timeline.
- Ability to track lease renewals, tenancy deadlines, and rental revisions proactively.
- Prompt follow-up with landlords, property agents, contractors, and internal teams on pending matters.
- Good documentation and record-keeping for tenancy agreements, negotiations, and site inspections.
- Ability to monitor handover progress, renovation works, and outlet opening schedules.
- Strong accountability to follow through from site sourcing to outlet commencement.
- Ability to identify and escalate issues early to avoid delays or disruptions.
Language Requirements
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for business communication, tenancy negotiations, and documentation.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking landlords, agents, contractors, and stakeholders where required.
- Ability to communicate in additional dialects or languages will be an added advantage.
