The Legal team is at the heart of GetNet Platforms, being a truly integral part of the business. Our goal is to be the best partner for the business by being proactive, adding value and delivering high quality, commercially-focused, legal support. For this position you'll be based in SĂŁo Paulo, Brasil.
📌 What you’ll do
-Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier and customer-facing SaaS contracts and material/critical outsourcing arrangements and providing advice on commercial, IT, IP and data protection aspects.
-Providing company secretarial and governance support to GetNet Platforms’ subsidiaries in Brazil.
-Advising in relation to regulatory changes which present both an opportunity and challenge for the GetNet Platforms business, including regulations impacting payments, data, intellectual property, and financial services
-Supporting ad hoc projects and transactions working closely with senior management, other GetNet legal teams and, where appropriate, external counsel
-Keeping abreast of and contributing to industry consultations and internal training covering regulatory and market developments in financial services and payments innovation.
✅ What we’re looking for
- Native Portuguese speaker with C1 English or Spanish
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong experience advising on IT, IP and data protection law.
- Strong experience of financial services regulation, including outsourcing and cybersecurity regulations.
- Law Degree
