About the company
Our client is a leading integrated environmental services company in Singapore. With a strong government contract base and a growing regional footprint, the business has recently entered an exciting new phase of growth.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with government agencies and commercial clients, ensuring compliance with tender requirements and performance obligations
- Own the maintenance and renewal of all regulatory licenses including toxic industrial waste, hazardous substance, and transport approvals
- Advise HR on employment law matters such as Employment Act, EFMA, MOM Fair Consideration Framework, and Progressive Wage Model compliance
- Serve as or oversee the company's Data Protection Officer under Singapore's PDPA
- Develop and implement an anti-bribery and corporate governance framework aligned to Singapore's Prevention of Corruption Act and international governance standards
- Monitor regulatory developments across NEA, MOM, and PDPC and assess operational impact
What we're looking for
- LLB or equivalent; Singapore Bar admission preferred. 6-10 years of legal or compliance experience, minimum 3 years in-house
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore contract law, employment law, PDPA, and the Prevention of Corruption Act
- Familiarity with NEA regulatory frameworks (toxic industrial waste, hazardous substance licensing) is a strong advantage
- Experience operating as a sole or lead in-house counsel, a self-starter who can build without a playbook
- Background in a regulated, operations-heavy industry (utilities, infrastructure, FM, logistics, or construction) is highly relevant
