🔍 Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support regional business operations by providing practical, commercial, and compliance-related legal advice. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and exposure to cross-border legal matters.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to business teams on commercial and operational matters

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (e.g. supplier agreements, customer terms, logistics contracts, NDAs)

• Advise on employment, corporate, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions

• Support compliance frameworks, corporate governance, and internal policies

• Work with HR on employment law and regulatory compliance matters

• Manage dispute resolution, pre-litigation matters, and external legal counsel when required

• Assist in risk management, debt recovery, and issuance of legal correspondence

• Develop legal templates, playbooks, and conduct internal training when necessary

✅ Requirements

• Degree in Law (LL.B. or J.D.) from a recognised institution

• Admitted to practise law in Singapore

• Relevant post-qualification legal experience in corporate and commercial matters

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills

• Able to work independently with a practical, solution-oriented approach

• Good written and verbal communication skills
