Legal Counsel (Digital Infrastructure)
Our client is a leading multinational group with established businesses across infrastructure, real estate, and connectivity solutions. The organisation has a growing presence in digital infrastructure, including data centres and subsea cable projects, supporting businesses and communities across Asia and other key international markets.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the legal leadership team, the successful candidate will provide legal and corporate governance support to the Singapore business while collaborating with legal and business counterparts across international operations. The role involves advising on commercial and strategic matters, supporting complex M&A and business initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing legal risks, engaging with senior stakeholders on key projects, and overseeing external counsel and legal budgets where required. Experience in data centre and subsea cable projects will be advantageous.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a law degree from a recognised university and have at least 4PQE in commercial legal work, together with reasonable understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to data centers and/subsea cable projects. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders, exercise sound commercial judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside a proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach. Experience working across diverse business environments, managing external counsel and legal budgets, and an interest in navigating complex regulatory and business growth initiatives will be highly valued.
