The Legal Counsel - Product will provide practical, risk-based legal guidance across the product lifecycle, with a focus on cybersecurity, SaaS/cloud services, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong legal expertise with commercial judgment, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, Engineering, R&D and security teams throughout the product lifecycle, providing practical legal guidance on product development, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory implications of new products, features, services, and technologies, including cybersecurity functionalities and cloud infrastructure.
  • Support the commercial legal team on product-related matters, including customer commitments, product terms, service descriptions, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Develop scalable guidance, policies, training and processes that enable the business and strengthen legal and compliance awareness across the product, engineering and security teams.
  • Support cybersecurity incident response, including investigations, breach notification, regulatory reporting, and engagement with external stakeholders.
  • Advise on security governance, policies, standards, vulnerability management, responsible disclosure programs, and related legal risks.

Required Qualifications

  • LL.B. degree or foreign equivalent, and membership in the Israeli Bar
  • Mother-tongue level English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 5 years of relevant legal experience of relevent experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house counsel for cyber companies
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, technology and privacy regulatory frameworks.
  • A creative and pragmatic team player, with strong business mindset, who quickly establishes “trusted advisor” relationships through strong interpersonal skills, to drive strategic legal and business initiatives.
  • Tech-savvy and analytically minded,
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice while balancing legal and commercial considerations.
  • Familiarity with AI governance and AI security legal considerations.
  • Experience supporting global compliance programs.
  • Knowledge of security standards/frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS, or FedRAMP.
  • Experience handling regulatory inquiries or investigations related to cybersecurity.
  • CISM, CIPP/E – advantage.
