Job Overview

Our fast-paced Florida criminal defense firm is hiring a 100% remote Legal Recruiter with a Human Resources background. You will lead our talent acquisition strategy and manage core Legal Recruiting functions to support our growing team of Florida-barred trial attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, and interview Florida-based criminal defense attorneys and legal support staff.
Talent Sourcing: Build pipelines through Florida law schools, local bar associations, and professional networks.
HR Administration: Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and policy implementation.
Culture & Retention: Develop engagement initiatives to maintain high morale in a high-stress legal environment.
Compliance Management: Ensure firm policies align with Florida state labor laws and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years in recruitment, law firm experience a plus
Florida Compliance: Strong knowledge of Florida-specific employment practices and compliance.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with legal roles, billable hour structures, and criminal law terminology.
Remote Skills: Self-motivated with excellent digital communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
